Woodruff, after he was elected judge in the Court of Common Pleas of Allegheny County in 2006.
Shawn T. Flaherty, Esq. was the eldest son of the beloved former Mayor of the City of Pittsburgh, the late Honorable Peter (Pete) Flaherty. Our office had the pleasure of working with ‘Pete’ for several years prior to his passing. Dwayne and Shawn became lifelong friends at Duquesne University School of Law and then began their law practices together as Associates at Meyer, Unkovic & Scott, LLP (Pittsburgh, PA).
In 1997, their newly found law firm was an immediate success. Founded upon integrity, hard work and commitment to clients, Woodruff & Flaherty, P.C. was an immediate recognized and respected law firm. In 1997, Noah Paul Fardo, Esq., joined the firm while in law school. Shortly thereafter, he became an Associate. By 2004, he was offered full partnership in Woodruff, Flaherty & Fardo, LLC.
