Attorney William (“Bill”) Rogel is a skilled trial attorney with 19 years of experience at Flaherty Fardo Rogel & Amick, where he has been a partner since 2013. His practice is focused on serious personal injury and medical malpractice litigation, and he has helped secure numerous million- and multi-million-dollar recoveries on behalf of injured clients across Pennsylvania.
Bill is an accomplished litigator with extensive experience across a wide range of legal forums — including jury and bench trials, arbitrations, mediations, administrative hearings, and municipal proceedings. He has successfully argued and won appeals before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, Superior Court, Commonwealth Court, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
For ten consecutive years (2012–2021), he was recognized by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers as a Rising Star, a distinction awarded to the top 2.5% of attorneys in the state. He has also been honored by Pittsburgh Magazine as one of the Top Lawyers in Pittsburgh.

A lifelong Pittsburgh native, Bill has lived in Plum Borough since 1993. He attended The Kiski School in Saltsburg, PA, and graduated from Yale University in 2003, where he served as president of the Yale Political Union. He earned his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2006 and has spent his entire legal career with Flaherty Fardo.
Bill is a proud Pittsburgher, passionate sports fan, and devoted family man. He has played in various adult sports leagues — including hockey, basketball, and softball — and even briefly played semi-pro football. He’s also lucky enough to have witnessed the Stanley Cup raised twice in person (once by the right team).
He lives in Plum with his wife and their two young children — a son and a daughter — to whom he is deeply devoted.

"I sought the assistance of Attorney Bill Rogel to help me with a long-standing easement dispute with a utility company. When I received the utility's notice that they were once again returning to my property I contacted Attorney Rogel. In the past the utility's personnel and contractors acted in a fashion I can only describe as bullying and intimidating. This was a matter of "David and Goliath" but I was determined to fully enforce my rights. I suggested that the utility communicate with Attorney Rogel. Thereafter the utility contacted me and asked my permission to enter my property to explain what they wanted to do and hear my concerns. Supervisors from the utility and the contractor met with me. Their bullying tactics disappeared. They acted like gentlemen this time. We agreed upon a reasonable resolution without having to go to court.
