Shawn Flaherty is the founding partner of the Pittsburgh law firm Flaherty Fardo. He has over thirty (30) years of experience in litigating cases in both the state and federal courts in Pennsylvania in a variety of civil litigation matters. He focuses on car accidents and personal injury lawsuits.
Attorney Shawn Flaherty is the founding partner of the Pittsburgh law firm Flaherty Fardo and has over 35 years experience practicing law. His practice focuses on personal injury cases and specifically car and truck accidents. He has an extensive business and political background including being elected in 2006 when he served in the Pennsylvania State House of Representatives (30th District).
He has spoken at numerous continuing legal education seminars concerning the art of settlement, and is known for his abilities to help resolve cases including many cases that appeared unable to be resolved.
He has been recognized for several million dollar and multi-million dollar recoveries concerning a variety of personal injury lawsuits, including but not limited to car, truck and ATV accidents. He has take a special interest in truck accident cases involving the Federal Hours of Service Violations, and the impact of fatigued drivers on our roadways.
Mr. Flaherty is the son of the late Pittsburgh Mayor Pete Flaherty and a life long resident of Allegheny County.
